Above: Example of Celtic Art
Celtic art came from people known as the Celts that lived in across Europe and only spoke of Celtic language.
The heart of Celtic Art originated from the prehistoric, medieval, revived and beyond. It is very symbolic in a sense that it speaks of unspoken language. It is beauty in an art that barely revolves around symmetry. It’s original and art in its free flowing manner avoids straight lines and stiffness in itself.
It seems simple yet complex in a certain level of its uniqueness. Mostly ornamental and has an array of mediums to follow it by. One of the most artistic artifacts found from the ancient history.
In the Iron Age, where the well strengthen hammers carved each iron to its very art form.
Mostly in the medieval stages where armors are carved into beautiful art pieces that fashion with Celtic art.
What makes Celtic art amazing is the mere thought that it lacks pattern and art in itself is free spirited yet it shows tedious work in details that makes it even more fascinating. It is neither copies nature nor any other sort.
Up to now, its timeless designs lives in the modern world making it immortal in everyone’s life itself may it come noticed or unnoticed.
It can be the clothes that you’re wearing, the carpet that you stepping on, the painting that you’re seeing, the jewelry that you’re wearing, the bowl that you put your soup in, the spoon and fork that you’re using or your letter opener. Either way, its everywhere, known or unknown, Celtic Art is at heart.
